Collaboration agreement between Mantequerías ARIAS and Salvesen

Salvesen, new logistics operator for Mantequerías Arias

Mantequerías Arias and Salvesen have reached an agreement for the execution of temperature-controlled logistics services in Madrid, at the Supply Logistics Center (CLA) located in Getafe.
With 12.800m² of storage area, 143.500m3 of cold room space, 63 loading and unloading docks, and an approximate capacity of 10,000 pallets, this Salvesen base has the necessary resources for any Integral Logistics and Transportation operation to fully cover Spain and Portugal, and being one of the main neuralgic centers of Salvesen's operations.
The leadership of Mantequerías Arias, with over 170 years of experience manufacturing and marketing dairy foods and Salvesen's extensive know-how in this sector, support the logic of this agreement to achieve the objectives of both organizations. Excellence in service and commitment to reducing environmental impact are also a common focus and a key element for a long-term relationship, which begins with this collaboration agreement and which will enable a close and lasting alliance.

Fernando Aguirre, Salvesen's Director of Development, stated that the incorporation of such an important client as Arias significantly reinforces the company's leadership position in logistics for refrigerated food manufacturers, the company's main vertical.

Jorge Fernández, Responsible for Logistics at Mantequerías Arias underlined the increasingly strategic importance of logistics, as a fundamental element of customer service, highlighting Salvesen's experience in the field as a differentiating element for their choice.
