Becomes the first Logistics Operator to certified in Transport and Warehousing FSSC 22000 in Portugal and Spain


Salvesen Logística has been recognized by AENOR becomes the first Logistics Operator to certified in Transport and Warehousing FSSC 22000 in Portugal and Spain.

The certifications come after a process of implantation and certification of an Integrated Management System of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and FSSC 22000 Standards. With this recognition, the Company strengthens the path towards excellence in Food Safety and confirms its commitment to Quality and the sustainability of its operations.

The certificates obtained demonstrate that the organization complies with the requirements established by the UNE-EN ISO 9001, UNE-EN ISO 14001 and FSSC 22000 Standards. Salvesen Logística aims to ensure that products reach consumers in optimal conditions, ensuring food safety, transparency, efficiency and continuous improvement of processes at all times, with the utmost respect for the environment.

On February 20, Luis Alonso, General Director of Salvesen Logística received, at the Getafe Logistics Centre, the three certifications from Manuel Romero, Director of Research and Market Surveillance at AENOR.

Thanks to this certification of the FSSC 22000 standard in the transport and storage modality, AENOR has been accredited by ENAC as a guaranteed entity to recognize this certification. For this, Salvesen has become the first Company to be certified in FSSC 22000 Transport and Storage in Spain and Portugal.
